I’d like to introduce our first PIFPAL (Pay It Forward Pal) of 2018, Glynis Gatenby, who Ngagementworks Pay It Forward Glynis Gatenbyis the Operations Director at Sutton Housing Society.

In work, Glynis is passionate about making a difference to people; helping to empower individuals to make informed choices.

Outside of work, her passion is travelling and a song that resonates with her about her life is “Rule The World” by Take That.

Glynis’ claim to fame is that she has travelled around the world by sea.

Ngagementworks Team DyNAmics Creative InteractionsHow Will It Help Others?: Updates on projects, new procedures, discussing risk assessments, introducing new policies; sharing IT hints, tips & ideas etc.

How long will it take?: Up to 1 hour a fortnight at the start of the working day.

Resources required: Only time

What to do:  The speaker generally introduces what we’re going to learn about and informally presents to the team, with staff asking questions as we go and then having a further opportunity for Q & As towards the end of the session.

At the end of the session, the team undertake a quiz, set by the speaker, with questions about the topic that has been shared.  These sessions enable the team to receive regular updates of what’s happening across SHS on key projects and issues, ensuring a greater awareness generally amongst staff.

What a great way to share information within the team, on relevant topics but in a fun way.  After all, who doesn’t like a quiz.
