Which of the 16 Team DyNAmics© Elements does this team building support?: TRUST

Ngagementworks Team DyNAmics Emotional RelationshipsHow Does It Help Others?: We spend around 40 hours a week with our colleagues at work and although we get to know them on a personal level, we don’t always know much about what inspires or motivates them. This is a great way to get to know what makes people are passionate about.  In addition, it also supports their development with their presentation skills.

How long will it take?: 20 Minutes

Resources required: Powerpoint (optional)

What to do:  At your next team meetings (if you have these weekly, you might want to make this exercise monthly), each team member, takes it in turn, to present to the rest of the team, on a topic of their choosing, that inspires them and that they are passionate about. It can be absolutely anything – it could be about their hobby outside of work or it could be about a piece of best practise they read about that inspired them. It doesn’t matter what it is, it just has to be shared with the team.

Thanks goes to Kelly Godden, who is Head Of Talent at The Post Office for sharing this team-building exercise.
